So, once upon a time there was a girl who loved livejournal so much that she feverently thought of witty subject headings and inside jokes to post the second she got home from school. Now, work is her life and she doesnt get to update half as much as she would like but she very much enjoys keeping up with her friends' lives through this handy little blog.

Ok, so I'm at work now. My boss called in while I was on the train and I've been here just trying to get work done in all this quiet. I'm here until 4:30 and kind of bored but I got my housing assignment finally!
I'm going to be the CDA in Davis. I'm actually very super excited that this is happening. I LOVE Davis, which is Ironic (I guess with a capital I?)because I remember writing a really whiney blow-out of an update last year when I found out I was living there, it went a little somehting like this:
I found out I'm living in Davis net year--not only Davis but A tower--not only A tower in Davis but 4TH FLOOR Davis in A tower. This is with out doubt the most LEAST desirable living arrangement in all of Westfield State College, as I've been told. Awesome.Whatev."
Hahahaha, I WAS SUCH A BITCH ABOUT IT!
But now I'm really excited for this year. I will get to be on the 2nd floor AND I get to work with Sean again!

Soooo, I work full time in Boston, I coach cheering after work, I get home and fall asleep, I never update and I hardly ever see anyone. THIS IS MY LIFE....
I feel like an old lady.
I did get to see my little vikings twice and I also got to chill with Kim.
Ummm, I go back to school aug. 25th,I have cheering camp at Babson the first week of aug., and my birthday is in a little less than 2 weeks. That is what is left of my summer in a nutshell, now all I need, my friend, is YOU!

Everyone always says "wow, this year flew by" but I think this year is something else. Honestly, this year snuck up on me like whoa and now I find myself scrambling to check people out of their rooms and return my internet cable, and pack up all of my craaaaap. Ah well.
I went to the movies last night. Good times. I'm going to miss my staff like crazy. We in Davis hall really lucked out. we're all buddies.
My sister did one acts,and she is a natural born scene stealer....not that I'm living through her or anything....ok, I totally am, apparently she is also the new VP of the class. Let's go lil-seester!
I've been done with classes since friday.
I am tired and I'm here until the 21st...and without internet. Now, I've gone longer than 4 days without internet, but I wouldnt recommend it. I still have soooooo much packing to keep my busy and 3 3-hour shifts for senior week to do.
I need to do an actual real update but I'm in a time bind. In a nutshell, as this year went on and all kinds of craziness ensued, we all kept saying "Well, it cant get any worse than this!"....and we always found that we spoke too soon and something else would turn disastrous. Looking back this year couldnt have been any better...not in a million years.
I hate mushy stuff and sounding silly. I'm going to miss people, my friends and residents, but I will be back here before I know it. So I'll leave it at this; Thank you Davis Hall.

Well, while I'm just chillaxin' in my room waiting for my friend Steve to come over for a Zebra Cake social...I decided I'd update.
Yesterday was the RA Banquet. It was a Cinco De Mayo theme and we fiesta'd. I was surprised I was nominated for 4 of the 5 awards given out and super excited when I found out I got "Excellence as a Role Model to Residents".I'm really going to miss my boys. It was a really nice night and I tried to go up and make a speech but I just kind of babbled and people were laughing....hopefully with me and not at me.
After that I went to the intramural ultimate frisbee championship and the team I was pulling for, including the Dans (one of which being replacement squirrel Dan) and Sean won. So, Congrats to the 'Neverland Ranch Kids'.
Today I was going through a bunch of old saved stuff on my computer and I found character stories from Ellis. As fate would have it, today is Yvie's Birthday! So, somewhere in Manhattan a fictional character is celebrating her 27th birthday.
Well, I have 2 research papers to write and a final for tuesday. Pretty awesome shite. But I'm really excited because my mom is hopefully coming up tomorrow for a visit which is most needed.
I will be home May 21st, so mark your calendars appropriately.

Well, I did NOTHING today and I got done with my one class at 11am. Such is life. The 23rd was Tay's bday which is crazy and I'm reallly bummed I wont get to see her in the one acts.
Facebook is the most mother-f'ing addicting thing EVER, my boys even made a group for me. I do adore them a-so much.
I got to talk to Sara on the phone the other day which was truly delightful and I had a super long conversation with Kim that consisted mostly of Cant Hardly Wait quotes. Looooovs it.
Spring Weekend is all over. The weather was pretty terrible however I didnt have to work crazy hours, but at night I found myself bursting into HY-STERICS for no other reason than the following:
Me (flipping through Kirsten's Strawberry Shortcake's 400 hundred pages of activity and coloring book fun):OH MY GOD!!! Look at this picture of this dog!! ITS NAME IS PUPCAKE!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, GET IT? PUP-CAKE! HAHAHAHA, WHY IS THIS SO FUNNY TO ME?..........PUPCAKE!
So, other than that things in the pioneer valley are everything they should be. I did this extra credit assignment for Geology in which the class stopped at various points on the highway to chip away at the huge rock formations with mining picks and just in case you were wondering, yes, most of them were igneous. I also gave a pretty sweet persuasive speech on MCAS tests and special needs students.
I saw Sin City the other night. I thik I liked it. I loved the way it was shot but at times I thought the plots were a little meh, but I suppose if you are a Frank Miller fan it was quite good.
Today I went to Sean and the Dan's ultimate frisbee game, they were playing Andrew Smith's team.I made a sign that said "Go Sean and The Dans, WOW! Frisbee Games are AWESOME!" It ended in a tie and I proceeded to go back to my room and chill with my buddy Patrick and watch Lucky Stiff which made me kinda sad.
I think I will be home around May 22nd-ish because I'm planning to stay for Senior Week. I miss all ye Quincy Friends. I'm sure I ha more to say but for now I shall sleep.
You know your tendancy to procrastinate is bad when you decide you'll just wake up at 5 to do your papers, research and all....

I saw this man in few years ago on Comedy Central and fell in love.
I saw him live at the Orpheum with Stephen Lynch on November 6th. He was buzzed like crazy and slurring but still hilarious. Jimmy and I had plans to meet him some day and were scopin' out some of his other shows. And I named the ceramic frog that sits next to the ceramic squirrel next to my house Smacky, England's forrest fire representative.
I just came back from the Dance show and everyone at the front desk was all like "Meg! You ok?! Did you hear?!" and then Brendan sent me the link. This shiiiiite is craaaaaaaaaaaazy. why am I so bummed?

Why Hello ma'babies
I just cant seem to keep up with this thing....le sigh.
This week has been pretty unawesome; A paper due Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Today and between writing those papers I had a test in Geology...yes, my rock class. My procastination will one day kill me I fear. It has gotten so bad (I have more important things to do like watch Ice-T and Christopher Meloni workin' it in SVU)I simply start writing my papers, research/reading and all at 5:30 the morning it is due. However, now I can finally sleep!
Last night I was on duty so naturally something crazy had to happen. In true Davis Hall form, the building got tired of providing hot water so it simply stopped. This did not stop people from showering in the most ridiculously cold water ever. I am also on duty friday from 5-7pm and then 11-2am because of Senate. So, if you are finding yourself in the Pioneer Vally, Oregon Trial Style, stop by and maybe I can help you out with buying some arrows to shoot oxen with. Just be careful when you cross rivers with them because they are heavy and will probably sink your wagon before you have a chance to get sick from dysentery.
Riddle me this; Why is it that the movie tickets in my wallet are as follws: Resident Evil 2, Saw, and The Ring 2? I dont know myself. But the Ring 2 was dissappointing to say the very least.
Easter was great.I got to see the family and such. We actually watched Wet Hot American Summer on Comedy Central in the morning. Soooooo glad to be home, however I no longer recognize the baby seester. I got me some spring clothes.
I finally got a new cell and I got to keep my old number.
Spring break was pretty hawt too.
Speaking of which, according to my calculations it is 58 degress out and I'm rockin' out with my sweet yellow trenchcoat.
Alas, now I must shower and nap. I'm going to see the Dance Team's show tonight which will be a nice change from writing papers.
Does anyone else have the problem of trying to write something and typing a word that starts with the same letter as the word you wanted to write but it is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WORD?! No? Just me? Coo.

Why Hello Friends.
Crazy weather we're having these days, eh?
Soooooo, where to begin?
My B-3 boys sang to me on V-day like I said (and yes, thats the shocker down in front...how charming) and I went to thier last Dodgeball game, but they lost. It was still quite the sight to see.
Dan and I like to dress as twins. Tongiht the wind and snow were so crazy we decided to order out and CHAOS INSUED!!!!!! I ate hawaiin pizza.
I got a promotion of sorts. Next year I will be coming back as a "CDA" which stands for Community Development Assistant. Bascially I'm higher up than an RA and my staff will come to me with questions and problems and such. I'm pretty pumped but I think this means I wont be going to Austrailia anymore.
I need to think of a topic to present to my speech class. It needs to be a speech to persuade the class to do something or believe what I tell them. Everyone is doing the death penalty or stem cell research. This is where you, loyal livejournal reader, come in. What do I talk about? Please give me something interesting to work with. We have already had a guy in the class tell us how to survive a zombie apocolypse, so pretty much anything goes.
I went to the mall last weekend with Jess and sean and we tried dressing Sean up but he didnt appreciate our dressing him in pink shirts and fitted pants...whatev. I also bought 2 shirts at NYC and they cost 5 bucks each due to a crazy sale and the reciept says I have saved $61.02. THATS AMAZING! My favorite catchphrase is also "THATS AMAZING!".
I miss Project Runway a lot. I dont really get into watching tv shows religously, but Project Runway was my anti-drug (this was not a successful comparison but you get the idea). What I really miss is THIS MAN and his pretty face and lovely strands of pearls. Wednesdays have ruined me!
I come home for spring break this friday. SUPER AWESOME FUN TIMES!
Kim is on a plane to Spain right now!!! Thats nutty!

Why Hello Darlings!!!!
Tis' been too long but I am alive and well, although just barely after not having internet for an entire month. A WHOLE MONTH SANS INTERNET?! What did people do before the days emoticons and away messages?! I found that if I wanted to know what someone was doing I would have to actually call them or go to thier door......that is messed up....whatevz. What is important is that I am back.
However there is so much I have missed mentioning on the LJ...

~My boy residents are on a dodgeball team called the Heart Break Kids
~on Valentines Day my boys came down to the front desk while I was on duty and sang a shoo-wop be-bop song to me, Courtney taped me into my room with signs and heart cellophane, I recieved a 'mysterious' condom-gram, Jessie gave me a fake flower, and so many people came to visit me and I felt loved.
~I saw Rich Price and Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers play in the main lounge and took pictures
....................
Hmm...after a month I was certain I'd have more to say...
Well, clases are boring and things are good. I'm reapplying for RA and I have some fun pictures to post And now I have a month worth of friends pages to catch up on. Time is of the essence . This house must be cleaned by 5.

2004.....what a terrible, sad year; as seems to be every 6th year in the Dennehey household.
But 2004 is all over with and now me and my sister will fight to see who is the victor in being the first to do "The Freddie" in the new year.

Well, I hope all y'all had only the merriest.
For me, it just didnt feel very christmas-y. I tried making my days be merry and bright weeks ago by putting up the infamous pink tree in my dorm room and wrap presents but I wasnt really feeling it. At school, I watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation a thousand times over and gave out my xmas cd to fellow Westfielders before finally leaving for home on the 22nd. This semester owned me. I pulled more all-nighters this semester than I did all of last year and I have been boasting of my 58 consecutive hours of not sleeping to get stuff done until I realized that not sleeping is the most uncoolest thing ever. I dont have any fianl grades yet because the school has a new system or what have you, but I'm not too concerned.
Before I left, one of my residents left me a gift. the ORIGINAL CLARISSA EXPLAINS IT ALL GAME, with a tag "To Meg, from Ashley's Childhood". It was pretty wicked awesome and most def. made my night. I also managed to steal away a pink marabou tiara in a yankee swap that prior monday. I essentially have only taken it off for exams and showers.
Coming home was sweet because I got to see these crazy kids. I also went to my aunt Kelly's house. Seeing my aunt Kelly and Uncle Boo and Ski and Bobby was really nice but Brendan not being around was beyond surreal and left a lump in my throat. I've been thinking of them everyday for these past 7 months and hope they know how much I love them and how amazing I think they are.
Again on Christmas eve (Technically xmas day because we didnt start until after midnight) we opened presents and such and then I went to bed, only to find myself waking to the Muppet's Christmas Carol around 12 this afternoon. The weather was so weird. The colors in the sky were really beautiful and the water is one of the things I miss the most while I'm in Westfield. And dinner. The dinner was pretty fantasmic. The gifts were perfect too.
So, here I am now. I think next year I'm going to start decorating the house the day after thanksgiving rather than just fluff stuff up the day before. But, today was nice, not very christmas-like, but nice. It's just sooooo nice to be home with family after a stressful semester and not do anything...at all...except see friends! because I havent seen any yet.
So, 2004 is like, soooo last year and I'm like sooooo ready for 05. BRING IT.
